What is Wishing You?

Wishing You is a mobile application which allows you to create and send personalised postcards to your loved ones. 

How do I use Wishing You? 

The Wishing You app is available on iOS devices and can be downloaded from the Apple store

You simply upload your image and address within the app and we will print and despatch your item. 

What will my postcard look like? 

Your postcard will be A6 (6 x 4 inches) in size and printed in digital colour on 350gsm card. The front of the card will be finished in a gloss laminate.

What happens to my photos when I upload them to Wishing You? 

Your photos are just that, yours! We hold onto your photos for the print process but once your postcard has been despatched, your images will be securely deleted from our servers. For further information, please see our Privacy Policy.

How long will it take for my postcard to arrive? 

Wishing You operates on a next working day despatch on all orders placed before 5pm. Orders placed over the weekend or on Bank Holidays are processed the next working day. 

A postcard sent to a UK address will take between 2-3 working days for delivery. A postcard sent to an overseas address will vary. Please see below the estimated delivery times for each region.

Europe 3-5 working days 

Rest of the World 5 -7 working days

The delivery time of any card will depend on the destination, quality of the address provided and the postal system in that area. If you are mailing to the UK, use our free address search within the app to ensure you include the full postal address and help the postman deliver your card. 

How do I know the status of my postcard? 

Within the ‘My Postcards’ section of the Wishing You app, the status is displayed. If the status is displayed as ‘Uploading’ your card is currently being sent to print. Once the status has changed to ‘Completed’ we have received your order and it has been sent to print.

Can I track my postcard once it’s been posted? 

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to track cards once they have been despatched, however if your order hasn’t arrived please check our delivery times and if your card hasn’t arrived on time please contact our customer service team at wishingyou@cfh.com who will be happy to investigate! 

How do I pay for my postcard? 

Payment with Wishing You is easy. You can pay for your postcard securely using PayPal or a credit or debit card. 

Is Wishing You environmentally friendly? 

Wishing You really care about the environment and taking care of the world we live in. That’s why all of our postcards are printed on FSC certified recycled paper. Our factory roof is covered in solar panels which mean that on a sunny day we can power our entire factory using renewable energy. 

All of our postcards are produced at our UK based sites. So, if you are sending a card from anywhere in the world back to the UK you also save a lot of air miles when sending your postcards.

How much does it cost? 

A postcard to a UK address costs just £1 or £2 to anywhere else in the world.

Will it cost me more to send my postcard from abroad?  

The cost of sending your postcard will depend on its destination rather than your location. No matter where you are in the world it will only cost £1 to send a card to the UK and £2 anywhere else in the world. If you are travelling outside of the EU or have used your data allowance, please beware of data roaming charges. The Wishing You app requires an internet connection to send your card, therefore to avoid any extra costs send your postcards using a Wifi signal instead.

My card has not arrived? 

Wishing You operates a next working day despatch if your order is placed Monday to Friday. Orders placed over the weekend or on Bank Holidays are processed the next working day. 

The time it will take to deliver your card will depend on its destination and the postal system in the area. Please see our delivery schedule above. If your card has not arrived within the estimated time please contact our customer service team and they will be happy to investigate for you.

My card has arrived but it’s been damaged? 

We understand that sometimes cards can get damaged in the post once they have left our site. If your card doesn’t arrive in tip top condition please contact our customer service team who will be happy to send a replacement card free of charge.

What do I do if I no longer want to use Wishing You? 

If you choose to no longer use Wishing You, all you need to do is uninstall the app from your device. Wishing You does not require you to have an account in order to use it therefore there is no account deletion required or contract cancellation.
